The IT revolution has been the poster child for Schumpeterian creative destruction, yielding innovations whose effects on our lives extend far beyond statistics on R&D spending imply.  From infrastructure to applications, experimentation with technologies and business models has been essential to the success of the Internet economy.  A policy environment that permits such experimentation is crucial for this era's creative destruction to continue.  Discussion panels and speakers at the 2013 TPI Aspen Forum will focus on competition, privacy, data security, and other regulatory policies critical to the health of Internet economy.

More information on speakers will be released soon.  Registration can be performed on the TPI website, and reduced registration fees are offered until July 1st.  For additional information, please contact Jane Creel at jcreel@techpolicyinstitute.org.  Members of the press can contact Amy Smorodin at asmorodin@techpolicyinstitute.org.
