European Telecom CEOs meet with EVP Ribera to discuss the role of connectivity in enhancing competitiveness and sustainable growth

Brussels, 14 January 2025 – Today, Connect Europe gathered 8 executives from Europe’s leading connectivity providers for a meeting with Teresa Ribera, the European Commission’s Executive Vice-President for a Clean, Just, and Competitive Transition.

The meeting agenda included the role of telecoms in enhancing Europe’s competitiveness, including the importance of scale and consolidation, as well as how to leverage digital networks to achieve the Continent’s climate goals.
