Telecom Leaders meet EVP Virkkunen and EVP Séjourné to advance Europe’s Digital Competitiveness through Resilient Connectivity
Brussels, 24 September 2025 – Yesterday, Connect Europe convened a delegation of CEOs from Europe’s leading connectivity providers for two high-level exchanges with the European Commission: a working breakfast with Executive Vice-President Henna Virkkunen and a bilateral meeting with Executive Vice-President Stéphane Séjourné.

The executives focused on accelerating Europe’s competitiveness by fostering the right conditions for investment and innovation, enabling the scale required for sustainable digital infrastructure, and promoting simplification as we work to achieve a real telecom single market.
