If you look at the numbers, they have a clear story to tell, there is a huge digital gap and there have been researches conducted that tell us that 1,26 million jobs will be influenced by a huge digital gap. Moreover, half of the European citizens don’t have the digital skills for the jobs of today. To see why diversity is an issue in the ICT sector, I would like to quote another EU research, the DESI 2020 report that shows that only 1 out of 6 ICT specialists are women. So, the number has a clear language telling us we are still behind on inclusion of women in ICT sector.
